Join us in the heartwarming journey of Hunter and Donna’s surprise proposal at Pedernales Falls State Park in Austin, Texas. What made it extra special? Earlier that fall I had serendipitously met Donna and Hunter at the Renaissance Festival in Todd Mission. We spent an evening chatting by the fire about how they met, their love story, and the vision they had for their future. When were talking about how fun it would be to take couples portraits they opted for an adventure photo session and I couldn’t have been more pumped! They chose Pedernales Falls for its natural vibe, donning outfits from their first date for a sentimental touch. While hiking we saw the coolest opening overlooking the park and that’s where Hunter asked Donna to marry him. It was such a sweet and special moment!

As their photographer, my goal was to capture the essence of their love—genuine smiles, stolen glances, and pure joy against the natural beauty of Pedernales Falls.
