I myself am a proud member of the queer community and as a kid grew up loving to draw. I would use markers, crayons, colored pencils, and paint. Being a classic 90's child, Lisa Franks and her epic bright colored portraits were top tier inspiration. Often times I would hand crafting cards for peoples' birthdays and special days. It brought me joy getting to customize cards special for each person.
As a photographer I use stationary all the time to send Thank You cards to my clients and other vendors and loved the idea of hand making them! Hoping these cards bring yall as much joy as they brought me when creating them and wishing all the best for the lovely notes that will be written in them :)
What inspired these Thank You cards?
I love yall so much! You all inspire me on a daily basis to love who I am in all it's unique complexity. It's one of my highest honors to create a safe space for us to exist in this world and digitally on the internet. I hope my watercolored creations bring you joy and help make you feel more welcome in the stationary space.
P.S. Keep being you and don't let the bastards get you down!

rainbow lovers
Cheers,
Emily
