In my opinion the space you call home holds just as much personality as you do. It also holds memories and has the power to bring you extreme comfort. It's your area, a physical space to come back to after a long day. Similar to everything else in this life though, physical homes don't last forever. Maybe we remodel, maybe we move. Whatever the case, it'll never be the same again as it is in this exact moment. That's why I'm grateful everyday that photos give us the ability to travel back in time and visit our homes and loved ones once again.
Intentions + Purpose:
My intentions are to encapsulate the emotions and feelings of your home (wherever and whatever that may be) and to provide a safe so that you can authentically show up as yourself in front of the camera. These sessions are meant to document a chapter in your life and physical space that you know is ever-changing but want to remember forever.
My purpose is to share my passion as an Intimate + Intentional Photographer and my passion for homes. I believe I've been given the gift to document peoples' everyday lives in a way that shows the world just how beautiful our mundane can be. We can't keep materialist things forever but we can keep the memories inside of photographs.
Everyone has memories that deserves to be remembered. I’m here to help visually encapsulate you and the physical space you call 'home'. To give your future-self the gift of time. Encouraging you to be yourself because the original is worth more than the copy and this includes your home.

From personal experience purchasing my house was a huge milestone in my life. It was a safe place where friends & family were welcome and TBH on tough days I really miss it. Before I sold it though last year I photographed myself in it and the little quirks that made it mine. That's what I feel a calling to do for other people as well who are celebrating any type of milestone in their lives.
Everyone's home is different and that's what I love most about homes, each has their own unique attributes. This is also why prior to our Photo Session we'll chat about which parts of your house you love most and want to be photographed with. Lighting also plays a huge factor so we'll also talk about where the light hits certain parts of your house during certain times of day. Not to worry though :) I'll walk you through the entire planning process.

I love photographing homes and the nostalgic parts that give them character. Below are photos I took days before I closed on my house last summer. This house checked off every wishlist item I had as a kid daydreaming about owning my first house. I was an emotional wreck throughout the selling process because I loved this house and I'm so grateful I took these photos to remember the good times. The journey this past year after selling my house and embarking on this once in a lifetime opportunity has been the hardest and scariest thing I've ever done in life but also my proudest accomplishments. I wouldn't trade the 5 years I spent in this house for the world because it made me the person I am today.
There's no place like home.
